Bio

I research, write and teach. I'm an idealist, believing/hoping that people can listen to one another, treat each other with dignity and respect, and discuss their deepest differences with civility. Too often I fail to live this out, but I'm trying to live up to these ideals.

I continue to hope that people will put aside their tribal biases and seek truth whatever the cost to one's own interests.
